Wash your hands!!!

Thank god President Obama gave that speech last night so we all know to use our best hygiene habits learned in 7Th grade health class!

And why not take Friday off? if you don't feel good, stay home after all that is the marching order from our 44Th! sounds good to me! I agree.... If your sick stay home!!

My kids school is still open but the middle and high school in Batavia are closed. Funny that they close the schools, cuz most the kids are still together grinding on skateboards and hanging by the Walgreen's!....but i do notice they are using purell hand sanitiser between sharing smokes and pop.

Get well wishes to my friend Kurt (Goodwin Performance) krumms son Parker who is home sick with what we think is R2d2 or whatever its called!

I feel bad for the nations pork producers as the price of hogs has gone way south.

Just got home from the gym good workout, although Adam the trainer like to hassle me.....I'm sitting here getting ready for a bike ride now and Gina throws down a fresh bag of Oreos. Nice.
That how we roll here.

Stay healthy, Wash your hands! My kids are sleeping in the garage due to the fact we don't want all those kid germs in the house!

Be sure to listen tomorrow as The Gov gives us the lowdown on the flu outbreak, and when George Strait will be sleeping over at his crib in Springfield.

Take care

Big day at the ballpark turned bad!

The big news in my house last night and today has to do with my disgruntled son Conner, I guess the little man was scrapping with another kid over a foul ball at the Cougars game yesterday. It was a school trip.

Hes says he had possession of the ball when another kid jumped in, (to which I say how did you let him even get the chance to touch the ball) Long story short the ball will be kept in his classroom for all to share.

This decision is not sitting well with the little man, He had to sleep with dad last night. In the scope of things I try too tell him its no big deal and to let it go. That we lucky we have our health, yada yada. He wont have any of it.

he's thinking that he will never catch a foul ball again. Ah the problems of a ten year old. I don't like it when the little mans not happy.

Hes such a cool kid, But man he takes this stuff hard, And as any good father would do I will let his mom handle it with the teacher!!!!

Chuck wicks off dancing with the stars!!! I laughed at that!

Whats up with the ref's in that bulls game last night. Brad Miller need stitches in his face but no flagrant foul?

Right now Lisa and I are talking to a family in Texas with the swine flu! Now that's a radio first......An exclusive interview with a family cuz there sick! next week is measles week with Lisa and Ray!

Go get your masks!

OMG! whats wrong with me

I'm sitting here watching dancing with the stars.

Why is it my respect for Chuck dips while Ty Murry is simply the man? Probably cuz Chuck is a natural pretty boy and Ty is just a mans man.

I mean really a 6 time all around world champion cowboy, getting judged by Bruno and Len? make me puke. They don't deserve to be on the stage with him. Go Ty!

This dancing stuff is crazy, But its fun to goof and dance with my youngest Cassidy!

Only about ten minutes till the Hawks pre-game the Boys from west Madison close it out tonight in Calgary. I run the gamut from DWS to Hockey.

How about that finish in the race yesterday, If your a NASCAR fan check out www.jerrybonkowsi.com and read his take on Telladega. Amazing that Carl Edwards walked away from that wreck. Someones going to die there. And as we saw yesterday it may be someone in the stands. Take off the plates and let the boys race.

70 plus degree's and my friend sand I are still working on snowmobiles, I'm working on some really cool race sleds that should be ready to show in Sept at Eagle River, and should be Race Ready for next years PVR race circuit.

Time to watch the hawks.

RR

Gina just said I should mention that she as well as Jessie are watching DWS too.

The Roar is back!

I don't know why it took so long, but last night I took Conner to his first Blackhawks game.

Thanks to Morning show regular Adam Burish, and Jay Blunk at the Hawks we had awesome seats. I'm not sure how these guys do it but pound for pound, Perhaps with the exception of ultimate cage fighting, Is there anything tougher than the game of hockey?

The Roar started with the tradition of a thunderous Star Spangled banner and went all the Through the 3rd period and continued till we got to the Ike and Harlem ave.

The kid had to wait till the 3rd period to see the first good fight of the night.

By tomorrow I will have some nice picture to post thanks to my Buddie Tom Langmyer from WGN that was at the game as well.

The seats are a little pricier than they were last year, But well worth it!

Nice weekend eh? the yard is starting to look like a swamp, Talked with my friend Brad who's a crop farmer, (and snowmobile bud) and he says that he has zero crop in, Usually by now he would have 1/4 of his corn and beans planted.

well big day for NASCAR and a trip to the gym, I need to prep for the breast cancer ride. For details just go back to the home page.

Have a good Sunday see you tomorrow morning with the devine one at 5:30

PS

Nice work to the Make a Wish foundation who had the "Office star" Steve Carrell call our friend Alex who's in the fight of his life against cancer. I here it was a long conversation and enjoyed by both.

Keep the kid in your thoughts.

Last night I was with the "Godfather of US99".....

Usually two to three times of year, I along with John Howell, and a Chicago advertising legend Joe Campisie get together with with JD Spangler who you may remember "started it all with America country station".

I cant go into detail as to what get talked about due to the fact I pretty sure we could still be held accountable for the old days.

I will tell you yesterday was a bit different than in the past as schedules didn't allow us all to meet time at our usual haunt of Carlucci in Rosemont.

Howell had to meet up with JD early as his boy Will pitched his first game last night, Joe had lunch with him and me ...I got dinner.

A lot of you often ask if we all still talk, The answer is a resounding yes! I will always respect and honor the chance JD gave me to work at WUSN. And for Johny Howell, well he's just nuts. And his kids a riot.

I'm not sure anyone cares about any of this, but nary a day goes by without someone asking about one of these two, and since I'm the guy at USN, I thought you may like to know.

Oh by the way JD's daughter Paige who works at US99 part time is due to wed in July. JD has asked Big John and Me to go talk with the boys family to make sure he understands things.

You do this for a guy like JD. After all he IS the "Godfather"

Have a great weekend

Here we go.

Time to blog, I'm new at this so be patient with me.

I'm in studio with Lisa right now. I have been in some kind of funk these last several days as a 13 year old friend of the family, Alex is struggling for his young life, What he has gone through is indescribable. He is a cool tough courageous kid.

I will be putting a link up to his walk for life page if you have a few extra bucks perhaps you could help the cause.

Cancer Sucks.

Looks like we have some great weather this weekend, I will be hitting the bike hard as its time to ramp up for the 400 miler in August.

I need to stay out of the house due to the fact Gina has gone on a remodeling kick and the place is all tore up, my 3 will have the new pant and cabinets tore up in no time.

As you know I'm a serious sled head, Most would think this would end after the snow melts but I will be in the garage most the summer restoring a 1978 Ski-doo Sno- Pro, I also picked up a 79 Moto-Ski racer. Pictures will be posted soon

Thanks for visiting and Listening,
