Cards Win Cards Win Holyeeee cow!

It took 18 games and the Conner Stejskal led Batavia Cards finally take home a win, Usually on a night like tonight me and dads just like me, gather to watch our kids make errors ,(not the Con Man, Hes a stud in that field)and get beat on a daily basis.

Not Tonight! the kids were just awesome, Danny threw smoke, Justin fielded like Rhino, and Conner stretched it out at first base and several occasions.

Conner was 4 for 4 with a single and 3 triples.

Last year his team won it all, It came easy. this year I think its actually a better season, You learn a little something about yourself when you lose. Yet every day this year after every loss the kids kept showing up, Coach Cash kept yelling, and they never quit. What you learn when you lose is that you gain optimism that at the next pitch, the next muffed play, the next crack of the bat it can suddenly turn in your favor.

That's why we cheer for the cubs, That's why we fall in love again after a heartbreak, that's why we get dressed everyday, Cuz you never know when you will deemed a winner, when it will all go your way.

The kids didn't need to win tonight to be winners they already were, Tonight win just made them feel good!

Baseball its all about what is good, and can be good again!

Ya Hey Deer!

Just back from the woods of Wisconsin, I had to bring my daughter and niece home from Mom and Dads place. The young girls were being hit on by old Wisconsin dudes. God help me if I find out who they are. These girls are 15!

15 year old girls scream, they are nuts, stay up all night and sleep all day, Cheyenne starts drivers ed this July. I let her drive this weekend while we played Alan Jackson's song "drive", She also was tooling around in dads little Lund fishing boat. I couldn't get that song out of my head! She can drive! I think Iwant to get her in a race car!

All in all it was a pretty laid back weekend I was up north getting things ready for the summer, and helping pops do some stuff at his place. I think both mom and dad were exhausted by the crazy girls.

Glad to still be alive! Whats going on? I have hardly had a chance to listen to my new Micheal Jackson CD that Motown put out and look at my Farrah poster and than Billy Maye's passes. as Ed McMahon would say hieoooooo!

Be good.

Just for kicks and grins,...and to answer a few folks who ask if I ever stop talking snowmobiles the answer is yes! Heres a picture of my Ski Boat next week I will have some barefoot pictures!!

My eyes are crazy!

That's a line from an old Jerkey Boys CD, I had my left eye lazerd to day by Tom Michelson at the Wheaton eye clinic. Its amazing that in a few short seconds and a day of recovery that I can see again. I basically did this because when ever I go out of town I can see street signs. I also was at a concert with Juliane Hough last year and across the room I didn't know who she was. When you cant pick Julianne out of a crown you have problems!

I thought I would share this picture I took of my truck after I interviewed Matt Kenseth at ESPN zone yesterday. I was on top of a parking garage and just thought it was a cool shot!

this photo is from my party last week for the US99 listener party I had with Justin Moore, this is Justin banging the six string in my family room. Great party with about a hundred of my close friends, The listeners that won the party.....never showed up, I'm told it was a little mix up through our fun and games dept. Nice.

Hey if you get a chance go to raystundra.com for a Chance to win some cool race stuff at Chicago land speedway for the race in a few weeks.

I'm out again tomorrow so enjoy the ladies talking about John minus Kate, I;m sure the men are lined up waiting to date her and her crew of 8 brats. That Hollywood lime light can be hard cant it?

Poor Patti! i didn't watch but she's out of Costa Rica and headed BACK to the jungle!

Well Brant Miller says one more day of the heat than more seasonal! it's too hot to even work on my snowmobiles! (it never ends) stay cool!

Baseball been very bad to my little man.

The little man was in the all star baseball game Sunday, It was pretty cool. There was some local guy with a computer doing his best attempt at Harry Carry, he had a bad sound system and some sound effects, But for the Batavia little league it was perfect. People were coming up saying "how come you not announcing"?, Nope no way, nada, that was my kid's day trust me he wouldn't want me up there yapping.

I feel bad for the kid, he plays well, he can hit and plays mostly 1st and 3rd, but the coach of his team doesn't believe in practice so the team sucks. They are a win less this season. It's just hard to watch. I hate to see him sweating in 90 degree weather when most of these kids cant catch a fly ball. I don't care if they win, but these lil kids are not having any fun! I'm gonna take them all to a Sox game!

Jon and Kate news.....who cares!

Today Matt Kenseth is in town at ESPN zone. We will have video and audio up on this website tomorrow.

This picture kills me! this is the vacant boat lift that my comp boat sits on, from the looks of it Cheyenne and her buddies at my mom and dad's place must be out doing a little early morning skiing!

Stay cool today gonna be hot, but I will be on the bike getting ready for the August ride.

Tomorrow I will be getting lasic from Tom Michelson at the Wheaton eye clinic, SO I will have to chill for a few days. But its gonna be nice to see again!

Hittin the summer in stride

Well the backyard party has come and gone, Justin Morre was a blast at the house this past Thursday. The back yard was in fine shape as the crew from Outdoor living did and awesome job on my deck. I will post some pictures soon, You can check it out right now at Ecovantagewood.com.

I think my neighborhood is glad its over as well as there are some big burnouts left in the street from the Harley boyzz. It was cool to see Dr Spitz hanging out with Steroid Jay.

Fathers day was cool, the crew made me a cake and gave me a cool new Sony Cool pix camera, So now the pictures will be better than the ones I take for this website on my Blackberry!

Opps shows over Gotta run I will check back in later today after the big bike ride!

C'mon Summer!

My house has been crazy, the deck project rolls on. But every other day it rains. Every other day it gets farther along, check out this picture, .....the guy who's running the project is Kerstin at Outdoor Living. His crew just rolls on, Hard working guys that build an awesome project. He's a listener of the station, sometimes that can be a double edge sword, Just like anyone you try to separate work from home, But I have to say its been great to work with him. He just does what you want and does it better than any other contractor that I have seen in my neck of the woods.

Hey with all that said, this is my personal website, just for my fun, I make no money off it, I don't need to sell anything off it, I just talk about things that are cool for me. Ecoadvantage.com if you need something check out Kerstin and his folks, Moneys hard to come by these days. This guys worth every penny.

Watching the CMT awards not a bad show, Engvalls a little off. I don't know didn't we just have an awards show? Always interesting to see how Nashville's going to try to reach beyond and we usually go right to a rap artist I think last year it was Snoop. This year T-Pain. It will be something to hear what the die hard's have to say about all the bling on tomorrows show.

Last night I was with my farmer Buddie Brad, My snomo guru turner extraordinaire Kurt Krumm, a guy who has more sleds than the State of Minnesota,... Brad Warning and a guy named TJ Patrick. My Buddie Brent Miller was nuts over all the stories. TJ is Danicas dad. But in our crowd, (serious vintage sledheads) TJ is a stud for his snowmobile racing success. His knowledge for making a little go a long way back in the day. and he's the one that taught the most successful woman in racing how to get around a track. (Shirley was the best on the 1/4 mile)

Here are some pics of the sleds, theres one of me in the warnings Bud dragster, and a picture Gilles Villenueves Moto-Ski twin one of I believe 2 ever made.

Hey by the way Lisa's a little under the weather. I will let her explain whats going on when she gets back. She will be fine!

Oh one more picture, Of me and some dude named Kenny.

The Kid in the cage.

Big first day of summer vacation for my little Man Conner, His mom (the resident jock of our house) took him out and bought him a new 30" 22 oz bat. The kids going to be a monster with this thing! Here's a picture of the kid in the Funway batting cage. he can hit with this thing! hes good in the field as well. I know he doesn't give it much thought but I think he's such a little stud. (the little girl in the cage behind is Cassie! shes 5)

How about that 72 year old woman getting tasered in Texas during a traffic stop?, Here's a hint stay in your car when you get stopped. And if your uncomfortable with the officer ask that another officer be called to the scene. I have to laugh at this one. The video is kinda funny!

The backyard party nears, and the deck is taking shape. Coming soon I will have picture of the project.

I'm wondering what I'm going to do with the other backstage pass at Kenny this Saturday, If your there and want to hang with me backstage the best way is come up and talk old snowmobiles with me, Better yet find me an old Ski-Doo or Arctic Cat sno-pro sled and I will give you my tickets and backstage passes.

Have a good day,

It Ray Wollery! and this is the dating game!

Seems like every so often we are the "radio matchmakers" Why do we place such importance on relationships?

We live in a city of eight million people, Am I crazy?.....it would seem to me that if you need a date you go find one. Not one to boast but I never had a problem finding anyone!

Bonnie and Lisa are always talking dating, Both these girls could have a guy if they wanted! I think they choose not too.

As far as the Nurse we are setting up with Chris I don't know. She seems nice. But shes young and successful, She cant find a date? C'mon. I think guys are sissys and afraid to just go ask anymore.

This stuff drives me nuts, There's a nut for every squirrel, and a butt for every seat. Perhaps some are supposed to be alone?

Just sayin!

stay turned tomorrow as the dating game continues, Its a tried a true good old radio bit man!

Ya Hey from the Northwoods.

Sitting up North in the rain watching Eagles get fish out of Little St Germain lake, Now that's a cool way to have Sunday morning coffee.

I took a run up to the cabin to see pops Late Friday afternoon and thought I would help get some more section of pier in for him, That was a fiasco as nothing worked yesterday. Its a slick aluminium pier from Boat Sport in Eagle Rive Wisconsin. I think I half drove John the owner nuts tyring to figure out what we need for the depth of our lake. Long story short they had to order the stuff I need. So I guess its back up here the weekend after Chesney.

So after the pier project went south I picked up some 6foot fir trees and planted them on the hill that goes down to the lake, Dad always has a problem with erosion so were gonna put in some trees and small plants to create a root system. That was fun. It took the guy at the landscaping place a skid steer to move them. It was up to me to get them out of the truck, move them and then plant a 3 foot by 2" deep hole to plant them. Man I know how to have fun!

I did pick up my new Tundra from Dan at Toy Friday, we will have a video of this up at Raystunda.com soon. This is the Platinum edition. It has air conditioned seats! the thing is sick!

well tomorrow starts the big push for Chesney at the Sacred grounds of the great Solider field. see you then

Ride like the wind Ray Ray.

Training day!

That's what cyclists refer to a big mile riding day, Today I did 34 miles not very long for a guy who will put 5, 100 mile days(century's) together in August. The difference today was I rode my heavy mountain bike and did mostly path riding. Near the end of my ride I hit some rare single track to cap off the ride. I love my Specialized Stump Jumper, But when you compare it to my Roubix its a hog. It would be the auto equivalent of a Hummer h-2 to a Porsche 911. You get the idea!

I keep telling myself to quit the weights and concentrate on weight loss and Cardio, to ride right and get ready for snowmobile race season next year I need to be in the mid 180's Right now I'm 195. After the Pink Ribbon Ride I will be 185 for sure. Truth be told I would like to give in to father time eat some pizzas and start to look like all my buddies!

Good news! Just found out the new 2010 Tundra is in and will be ready for me tomorrow, I have had the current truck for over 45,000 miles. Trust me the tires on this thing are gone! Dan from Toy tells me to drive it like I stole it and believe me I do!

Make sure you listen tomorrow Lisa's gonna beat T-Roy up about his Adam Lambert get up! And we pre recorded a call with Candy Spelling (Tori's mom Arron's widow) what a piece of work this chick is. I actually liked her for 8 of the 10 minutes we talked to her! But this chick is a high society whack job!

See you tomorrow!

What the Deck?

Below are pictures of my treasured backyard, it used to be all mine until the Trampoline and the huge swing set. A few years ago my dad and I built a shed (small garage really) it was an extension of my man cave(garage) it was going to house all the junk i didn't want seen. Now its filled with all my and my kids junk. There's an old saying whatever you want to build,....build it bigger.

Same is the case with my deck, My dad and I built this thing oh about 8 years ago. should have built it bigger!

Enter my latest project, this time I'm leaving it to the pros's at Outdoor Living of Mundlien. Kerstin at Outdoor Living heard about the backyard party I was having with some US99 listeners and Justin Moore and wanted to make sure the deck was "hooked up"

Back during the St Jude radiothon an old friend that works with Vallory records out of Nashville(George Briner) said "lets do a party for St Jude with Justin....in Rays backyard" well now I'm ripping up my yard with two weeks to go! I'm told it will be ready. The plans for the deck are awesome! fingers now crossed for good weather to get er done!

Here are pictures of my yard for you to check out, the cool thing is most the green in my backyard is a variety of plants I had taken from my boyhood home in West Chicago, every time I look in the back of my yard it reminds me of my mom who taught me how to make a garden grow. Whenever I need a dose of home I just go out the backdoor.

I must admit I'm a neat freak and very particular about my stuff, The wheelbarrow and foot traffic is stomping my grass down to mud and it killing me! But the end result will be cool.

Take care

RR

what a waste of time

The girls always give me crap that I don't watch enough TV. These guys are really in to John and Kate plus 8, Trust me if there was no chance of there relationship blowing up the Lisa's wouldn't care. But they love to dish on scandal so they watch.

Me, I'm usually doing anything but TV, unless its on the Speed channel.

Well last night I watched " I'm a Celebrity" Wow! what garbage, How about that Patti Blago! she ate a Tarantula! kudos for that don't know if I would have the chops to stomach that! stupid stupid stupid!!! Larry Wert Pres of NBC 5 Here in town says the show was a huge ratings success!

I will tell you that Conan came out smoking last night on his debut of the Tonight Show. The guys just funny. It will be interesting to see if he can keep Lenos ratings. He better than Dave, But there's enough to go around for both shows. As far as Leno it will be interesting to see how well he does in prime time. NBC, wants to keep him from jumping to ABC.

That should be enough TV to hold me over for the week or until NASCAR race day Sunday.

Take care
